Top Valve Manufacturers in India for HVAC and Fire Protection (2026 List)

This is a shortlist of Indian manufacturers that make valves for HVAC and fire protection systems. It's written for engineers, MEP consultants and procurement teams who want actual manufacturers, not a directory full of traders. Each entry was checked against the company's own website, and the check date sits next to it.
Disclosure: Castle Valves is one of the manufacturers listed here. We applied the same criteria to every company, including ourselves, and we set them out below so you can judge the list for yourself.
Picking a valve supplier for a chilled water loop or a sprinkler system isn't really about the quote. If a valve fails in either one, a building can lose cooling or lose its fire protection, and that's a bad thing to discover after the order has shipped.
How We Selected These Manufacturers
We ran the same six checks on every company, ours included:
Makes valves in India. Each company describes itself as a manufacturer on its own site.
Relevant range. The valves are used in HVAC or fire protection systems.
Track record. How long the company says it has been manufacturing.
Standards. Whether it states the standards its valves are made and tested to.
Certifications. Only ones the company publishes itself.
Sourcing. Every detail comes from the company's own website, dated next to each entry.
Nobody paid to be on this list, and we haven't tested any of these valves ourselves. Use it to build a shortlist, then ask each supplier for its test data and certificates before you order.

Listed alphabetically. Certifications appear only where the company publishes them.
Butterfly Valve Manufacturers
Butterfly valves are the default isolation valve in most HVAC and fire protection lines above a certain size, so the seat design and shutoff quality matter more than the catalogue. For the basics, see our guide to butterfly valves explained.
Advance Valves Group
(India, four manufacturing facilities) By its own account the group has spent about three and a half decades in the business. It lists replaceable liner low-torque butterfly valves and high-performance metal-seated and soft-seated butterfly valves made to API 609. Its butterfly valves page mentions UL-approved versions built to AWWA C204 and API 609. Best suited to larger lines where a fire-water approval is specified. Aira Euro Automation Pvt. Ltd.
(Narol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat) Aira lists centric, double offset, high-performance, triple offset and damper butterfly valves. Most of its wider range (actuators, control valves, lined valves) points toward process industries, so check the specific model against your HVAC duty. Source: airaindia.com, verified 28 Sep 2026.
Castle Valves Pvt. Ltd.
(Mayapuri, New Delhi, manufacturing since 1990) Castle makes soft-seat butterfly valves with a single-piece body and an integrally moulded seat, plus motorized butterfly valves for BMS-controlled systems. For fire protection it offers a butterfly valve with tamper proof switch. Best suited to HVAC isolation and sprinkler system lines.

Leader Valves Limited
(Jalandhar, Punjab) Leader lists butterfly valves alongside a broad range of brass, bronze, iron and steel valves. See its balancing valve entry below for more detail.
Rapid Controls Pvt. Ltd.
(New Delhi per its IndiaMART listing, founded 1973 per its site) Rapid says it serves HVAC-R, plumbing and firefighting. Its site lists ball, butterfly and control valves, and its IndiaMART listing adds butterfly valves with compact actuators, brass ball valves and motorized valves for fan coil units, and autovents. Best suited to fan coil unit and building services work. Its own pages showed no street address, so confirm one before you visit.
Balancing Valve Manufacturers
Balancing valves are where HVAC systems most often go wrong, because they get skipped or never set. The hydronic balancing valves guide explains why they matter in chilled water systems.
Advance Valves Group
(see the butterfly entry above) Balancing valves are one of its core lines, including large-size, flanged, screwed gun metal and pressure-independent control valves. The company says it holds a US patent (No. 8714190) for a large-size balancing valve for central chilled water systems. Best suited to large chilled water projects.
Aira Euro Automation Pvt. Ltd.
(see the butterfly entry above) Aira's manual balancing valve covers 25 mm to 350 mm, with cast iron, ductile iron, gun metal or CF8 bodies, for water up to 85°C, in screwed or flanged ends. Best suited to HVAC and water distribution lines that need manual balancing in larger sizes.
Castle Valves Pvt. Ltd. (see the butterfly entry above)
Castle Valves states that it was the first company in India to manufacture digital handwheel balancing valves and to develop dynamic pressure independent balancing valves. Its balancing valves are built for accurate flow commissioning in chilled water systems. Source: castlevalves.com, verified 28 Sep 2026.
Leader Valves Limited
(Jalandhar, Punjab) lists a ductile iron double regulating balancing valve with test cock (PN-16, flanged) and a forged brass double regulating version with nozzles (PN-16, screwed). Best suited to buyers who want plumbing, HVAC and firefighting valves from one supplier.
Check Valve Manufacturers
A check valve protects pumps from backflow, and the wrong type is a common source of water hammer. Castle's range includes dual plate check valves, single plate wafer check valves and swing check valves.
Advance Valves Group (see above) Dual plate check valves made to API 594 and API 6D are one of its named specialities.
Norflow Valves (Odhav, Ahmedabad, Gujarat) Norflow lists single disc check valves (40 to 1000 NB), non-slam check valves (15 to 300 NB) and dual plate check valves (50 to 600 NB), designed to API 594 and tested to API 598. Best suited to pump discharge lines that need wafer check valves across a wide size range.
Fire Protection Valve Manufacturers
Fire protection valves have to meet the project specification, and many specifications ask for UL or FM approval, so check the spec before you check the price. The castle offers a test and drain valve for sprinkler systems. Our posts on fire sprinklers and fire protection valves and tamper-proof butterfly valves cover where each one is required.
Advance Valves Group (see above) The group lists firefighting among its industries and states it can supply UL-certified valves for fire-water service. Confirm the exact valve sizes and models covered before you rely on that.
Leader Valves Limited (Jalandhar, Punjab) lists fire hydrant valves and names firefighting among its industries. It publishes ISO 9001, ISO 45001, PED, CE and IBR certificates, but we did not see UL or FM listed on its certificates page.
Rapid Controls Pvt. Ltd. (see the butterfly entry above) Its IndiaMART listing shows water flow switches for firefighting water lines. Those are switches, not valves, so treat it as an accessory supplier for this group and ask what approvals apply.
What to Check Before Choosing a Supplier
Ask for body and seat test pressure data for your exact valve, not a general range.
Confirm approvals against your project specification, not just the datasheet.
Check seat and body materials against your fluid and temperature.
Ask for the lead time on the full order, not a sample.
Ask for installed references in systems like yours.
Ask who handles a warranty failure and how fast.
Our buyer's guide to selecting the right industrial valve goes deeper on each point.
FAQ
Which valves are used in HVAC and which in fire protection?
HVAC systems mostly use butterfly, balancing, ball and check valves. Fire protection adds test and drain valves and tamper-proof butterfly valves, which report their position to the alarm panel.
Do fire protection valves need specific approvals? Often, yes, but it depends on the project specification. Read the spec first, then ask the manufacturer for the matching certificate.
How do I verify a manufacturer's certification? Ask for the certificate number and check it with the issuing body, not just the PDF you were sent.
Is an Indian manufacturer better than an importer? Not automatically. A local manufacturer usually means faster replacements and someone who can visit the site if something goes wrong.
